Get to Know Me

Hi,
I'm Jack.
I know that some things can be difficult to talk about with friends and family and this can leave us feeling isolated. Talking to a counsellor can provide you with the opportunity to explore these experiences and continue to grow.

I am a friendly and approachable person who is here to listen. My aim is to provide a space for you to feel heard, understood, and not judged. Together, we can explore how you are feeling, discuss your concerns and worries and bring positive changes to your life.
Each of us inhabits a world with a population of one, while at the same time, we move through, deal with and experience a world populated by millions

My Practice
I am a person-centred counsellor. The person-centred approach does just that - it puts you at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. You are free to bring any issues that are concerning you to our sessions and we will explore these at your pace. Our sessions will be non-directive, which means that I won’t tell you what to talk about or what to do. Instead, I will provide a space where we can explore the issues that are concerning you - together. As a person-centred therapist, I believe that every person is able to achieve their full potential but sometimes certain life experiences can get in the way. Contact me if you would like to know more about how I work.

Supervision
I have a commitment to my clients, my profession and myself. Therefore, I undertake regular supervision, in line with the BACP requirements. This ensures that I remain safe and ethical.
