Meet Jack: Person-Centred Counsellor & Therapist

Hi, I'm Jack

It's completely natural to find certain topics challenging to discuss with friends and family, and feeling a bit isolated can happen to the best of us. However, reaching out to a counsellor can be a transformative step, offering you a safe space to delve into your feelings and experiences. This journey can serve as a wonderful opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. I am a warm, friendly person, genuinely here to lend an understanding ear. Together, we can navigate your emotions, address your worries, and open the door to a brighter, more fulfilling life. Embrace this chance to create positive change, because you truly deserve it! Let’s embark on this journey together and unlock your potential!

How I work

I am a person-centred counsellor, specialising in a therapeutic approach that places you at the centre of the counselling process. This method allows you the freedom to bring any concerns or issues to our sessions, which we will examine at a pace that suits you. The sessions are non-directive; I will not instruct you on what topics to discuss or how to proceed. Instead, I will create a supportive environment for us to collaboratively explore the matters that are important to you. As a person-centred therapist, I hold the belief that every individual has the potential to realise their full capabilities, although various life experiences can sometimes hinder this process. If you would like to understand more about my therapeutic approach, please feel free to contact me.

Supervision

I have a commitment to my clients, my profession and myself. Therefore, I undertake regular supervision, in line with the BACP requirements. This ensures that I remain safe and ethical.
